Monroe Street Framing is proud to announce its 24^th year of providing outstanding custom picture framing services to the Madison community. Our company started on the premise of providing uncompromising quality and customer service to the neighborhood and has expanded to reach thousands of customers throughout the country.

Our shop resides in a historic Prairie School building ca. 1949 in the beautiful Monroe Street neighborhood. From this unique vantage point, we view the art we frame both for its present and its historic legacy in the homes and commercial buildings where it is installed. We respect our clients’ wishes, understand their needs and preferences, and strive to deliver the highest quality service.

Monroe Street Framing has been owned by Dave Gunderson since its inception. Dave’s background includes a Bachelors of Art and Masters of Fine Arts. Co-partner, Michelle Waldeck holds a Bachelors of Science and Masters in Art Therapy in addition to graphic design experience. Our combined background of over thirty-seven years enables us to provide the expertise necessary for handling all aspects of the framing process for both our commercial and private customers alike.
